I am head over heels in love with the Maltese breed. These are the most loving and devoted dogs I have ever had the pleasure to own. These dogs adore their humans and their only desire is to be close to their people. They are very sensitive and intelligent creatures. The main function of this charming toy breed has always been to serve its master as friend and companion and basically be a little lap dog. The Maltese has long been known as "the comforter dog" and it does its job well. Truly amazing little dogs.
